On the occasion of the centenary of the foundation of the church of Sagrado Corazón de los Jesuitas of Gandia, the Palau Ducal has organised a programme of guided tours to show visitors the history of the church and its architecture, the work of Manuel Peris.
First of all, on Wednesday 29th May, the same day the church was inaugurated one hundred years ago, two guided tours will take place. one hundred years ago, there will be two guided tours to commemorate the anniversary: in Spanish at 13:30 and in Valencian at 16:00. These visits will be free of charge and places can already be booked on the website.
On the other hand, on Saturdays in June, all those who purchase their ticket for a guided tour at 16:00 (Valencian) or 18:00 (Spanish) hours, will have the option, for an additional 1 euro, to complete the tour of the building with an explanation of the church. The guided tours can be purchased through the website and the complement of the church can be purchased at the same day of the visit.
For the Fira i Festes 2024, special guided tours will be held again in the church of the Jesuits in Gandia.
